Here is the editing process of my final favourite image from my Horsforth Walk. This is the only panoramic photo that I took.
For this photo I tried to tone down the white sky and white balance it however I was unable to do so. I decided that for this edit I wanted to do something. little bit different, I wanted to make this photo look vintage/old by using different filters.
For starters I wanted to change the colour of the photo to a sepia colour. To do this I used Hue and Saturation. Make sure you tick the colorise box then drag the hue and saturation sliders until you have a sepia tone.
The next stage is to add some ‘Noise’
The next stage is to add some grain/scratches, to do this I added another layer a complete black block. The next stage is Filter > Filter Galley. Then select the Texture folder then Grain filter then make sure the grain type is on vertical. Then as you please alter the intensity and contrast of the grain to what you want. Once you are happy click okay.
Finally whilst selecting the Black layer, scroll through the layer filters and select the ‘Screen’ filter.
There you have it, a vintage looking photo.
Here is the original and new image.
